The Renters Rights Bill And Wales 

Whilst the majority of reforms apply to England, Welsh landlords should be aware that they will also be prohibited from engaging in discriminatory practices - specifically, refusing tenancies on the grounds that a tenant is in receipt of benefits of has children.  

The legislation also proposes giving the Welsh Government powers to expand this ban to cover additional protected groups.
