Residential Tenancy Compliance Documents

Landlords must comply with a wide range of legal duties and obligations before a tenancy begins, during a tenancy, and when it ends. Failure to meet these obligations can lead to serious consequences such as significant financial penalties and restrictions on the landlord’s ability to serve notice and regain possession of their property. 

Important Notice: The Renters Rights Bill proposes to abolish Section 21 Notices entirely. The Bill is currently progressing through Parliament and is expected to receive royal assent in the later part of 2025 with a phased implementation for certain parts of the Bill.
